THE TOOLS BEHIND THE GLOW
A tool for each kind of skin day.
The right tool can make a familiar shower feel more intentional. Reach for the African Net Sponge to cleanse and lather, or make time for a deeper body reset with the Dame Deep Exfoliating Mitt. Learn the difference, then choose your rhythm.
THE EVERYDAY SHOWER COMPANION
African Net Sponge
Pair it with your favorite Dame Body Wash or Soap Bar. Its flexible length helps you reach the back and shoulders, build a generous lather, and gently cleanse the body with a touch of light physical exfoliation.
- Best for regular cleansing and lather.
- Use gentle pressure and adjust to your skin.
- Rinse after use and allow it to dry between showers.

THE PERIODIC BODY RESET
Dame Deep Exfoliating Mitt
For rough-feeling or buildup-prone areas, soften body skin thoroughly in a warm shower or bath. Wet and wring out the mitt, then work in controlled strokes directly on softened, wet skin. The textured mitt supplies the friction, so skip wash, soap, scrub, and oil underneath it.
- Begin around once weekly and adjust to your skin's response.
- Focus on areas that need attention; use lighter pressure on delicate areas.
- Rinse thoroughly, then finish with Body Oil or Body Butter.

SPONGE, MITT, OR SCRUB?
Follow what your skin needs.
Sponge: cleanse and lightly exfoliate with wash or soap. Mitt: a periodic, deeper physical exfoliation on well-softened, wet body skin without product underneath. Scrub: a nourishing botanical polish used as directed on its own day.
There's no need to stack a deeper mitt session and a scrub in the same shower. Start gently. If skin feels tender, raw, or irritated, stop exfoliating that area. These tools are for body skin, not the face.
Body Care Tools FAQ
Can I use the sponge every day?
It is intended for regular body cleansing. Use light pressure and adjust your frequency to how your skin feels.
How often should I use the mitt?
About once a week is a starting point. Skin that tolerates physical exfoliation well may call for a different rhythm. Follow the individual product directions and give your skin time between deeper sessions.
How do I care for the tools?
Rinse thoroughly and let each tool dry between uses. See its product page for full washing, storage, and replacement guidance.
