The open mesh works beautifully with your favorite Dame Body cleanser.
Add Body Wash to the wet net or work your Soap Bar against the damp mesh, then gather and rub the material between your hands to create a rich lather before cleansing.
The flexible netting helps distribute cleanser across a larger surface area, making an everyday shower feel a little more intentional and a lot more luxurious.
LIGHT PHYSICAL EXFOLIATION WHILE YOU CLEANSE
The textured nylon mesh creates gentle friction against the skin while you wash, helping loosen loose surface buildup and leave skin feeling cleaner and smoother.
This is light everyday exfoliation.
It is not intended to replace the deeper exfoliation you get from your Dame Deep Exfoliating Mitt or the nourishing polishing experience of a Dame Body Scrub.

QUICK-DRY OPEN MESH
The open nylon construction allows water to drain readily and gives air more opportunity to move through the material than a thick, absorbent traditional washcloth.
After use, rinse it thoroughly, stretch or shake it open and hang it in a well-ventilated area to dry completely.

One of the biggest advantages of the African Net Sponge is its length.
Stretch the sponge between both hands to cleanse areas that are difficult to reach with your hands or a small washcloth.
Think:

The longer design allows you to work across larger areas without struggling to reach them.

When you don't need all 45 inches, simply gather the netting in your hands.
Add your cleanser.
Build your lather.
Then cleanse your body with gentle, controlled movements.
The sponge works beautifully across the arms, chest, torso, underarms, hips, thighs, calves, ankles and feet.
Use lighter pressure around delicate or friction-prone areas such as the chest, beneath the breasts, underarms and body folds.
You do not need aggressive pressure to get clean.
Pressure is not an active ingredient.
HOW TO USE
1. WET
Thoroughly wet your body and the Dame African Net Sponge with warm water.
2. ADD CLEANSER
Apply your favorite Dame Body Moisturizing Body Wash to the wet net.
Prefer a Soap Bar?
Work your damp Dame Body Soap against the netting to create lather.
3. BUILD YOUR LATHER
Gather and rub the netting between your hands until you create a rich, creamy lather.
4. CLEANSE
Gently move the net across your body.
Gather it for targeted cleansing or stretch it between both hands to reach your back and shoulders.
Use controlled pressure and allow the texture of the net to do the work.
5. RINSE + HANG
Rinse your skin thoroughly.
Then rinse the net until cleanser and lather have been removed.
Open it up rather than leaving it bundled into a wet ball, and hang it somewhere well ventilated to dry completely between uses.

Pair the net with your favorite cleanser for everyday cleansing, rich lather, extended reach and light physical exfoliation.
This is the foundation of your ritual.
STEP 2: EXFOLIATE
Choose the exfoliation your skin actually needs.
Reach for a Dame Body Polishing Scrub when you want your nourishing botanical polishing ritual.
Reach for the Dame Deep Exfoliating Mitt when you need periodic deeper exfoliation and more focused buildup removal.
The African Net Sponge provides light exfoliation while cleansing, but it does not need to perform every exfoliation job in your bathroom.
STEP 3: MOISTURIZE
After cleansing or exfoliating, apply your Dame Body Nourishing Body Oil while your skin is still slightly damp.
Follow with Rich Body Butter whenever your skin needs additional moisture and sealing.

After every use, rinse the net thoroughly to remove cleanser and residue.
Open or stretch it out rather than leaving the wet mesh bundled together.
Hang it somewhere with good airflow and allow it to dry completely between uses.
Periodically clean the sponge according to its care instructions.
Replace the net if the material becomes damaged, excessively stretched, difficult to clean, develops a persistent odor or no longer feels hygienic or functional.

Can I use it on my face?
No. The Dame African Net Sponge is intended for the body.
