Since 2012, I have blended botanical knowledge, holistic wellness, and freshly made body care to help women build rituals that honor their skin and their bodies. I created Dame Body for women who want body care that feels beautiful, makes sense, and brings them back into a loving relationship with their own skin. Los Angeles Roots • Founded in 2012 I did not stumble into skincare. My natural beauty journey began when I stopped chemically altering my hair, started reading labels, and asked a very honest question: why did my skin still feel dry when I was doing everything I had been told to do? The more I studied ingredients, the clearer it became that I wanted body care made for real skin. I wanted rich plant oils, butters, herbs, fruit extracts, and aroma blends chosen with purpose. So I began formulating, learning, testing, listening, and building Dame Body from the ground up. In 2014, I left my corporate career to pour myself fully into this work. The women who trusted me with their skin helped shape this brand. Their questions, stories, and glow became part of every formula and every ritual. From Los Angeles to Rural West Alabama In 2021, I packed up my Los Angeles life and moved to a farm in rural West Alabama. People thought it was a little wild. Maybe it was. But the land brought me closer to the rhythm that had always guided Dame Body. Here I garden, raise chickens, grow botanicals, and pay closer attention to seasons, soil, and the true cost of what we consume. That connection deepened my commitment to thoughtful ingredients, small-batch production, sustainability, and responsible consumption. Farm to skin is not a trendy phrase here.
